If a person has trouble understanding a manual, say for a digital camera, is that a cognitive disability? |
My nephew isn't a good "book learner" and was diagnosed with a cognitive disability. Does a cognitive disability mean he processes information differently or can't at all? Not understanding a manual for a digital camera is normal and not a good sign of cognitive disability- There are several different kinds of cognitive disabilities. Which one he has and how severe it is will determine what he can or cannot do and what he will have problems with. |
