Recently Inhererited a Leica m3?

Okay, so I am completely confused by this camera because I have pretty much no idea how it works. There is no users manual. If you know how about this camera (thank God for you!), I have a couple of questions. First off...how do I load the film onto the take up spool? How do I focus? How do I adjust the aperture/shutter speed? ...I think you get the idea. I am so lost. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you do have to take the takeup spool and insert the film leader and then insert film and spool into the camera.

Since you need two things 1) some instruction on how to load your camera ...not that easy unless you have a manual and 2) how to use an adjustable camera.

You will need a light meter to determine what f/stop and shutter speed to use when taking photos.

Your camera is what is called a rangefinder, it is very quiet and is very easy to focus in low light.

I would suggest you take a class at your local community college to learn more about how to use your camera.
