For school, we have to enter a contest called National History Day, in which you must create a project. I have decided that I am probably going to make a documentary. What would I need to do this. I think I could get a camera from the school, or if you know of any inexpensive digital camcorders, please tell me. Also, do you have reccomendations for any inexpensive movie-making software good for school documentaries. And lastly, what are some ways I can make the documentary look professional, and do well in the contest. Thank you very much! make a student porn it will be beater selled I don't know specific answers, but I do know that there is lots of reasonably-priced software you can use. Of course, the more money you do spend, the better your project MIGHT be - but then you also need to make sure your PC is powerful enough to handle it, too, and you have to realize that you are new at this and will only get so much out of it.
Go to CNET.com to search for info on software. CNET is an info service (though they do have links for purchasing), and they cover all the open-code and free download solutions, too.
As for camcorder, you might be better off using whatever the school has. It really should be good enough.
Your key question is a production question: How are you going to handle SOUND? Make sure the camera you use will record sound, OR make the decision that you will lay down a separately recorded audio track later, in post-production.
Have fun!
p.s. There are good books on documentary film and videomaking at your local library. |
