I have a Sony DCR-HC30 digital camcorder and I'm trying to download the tape into my Laptop ("HP Pavilion dv8315nr, windows xp") with a Sony I link IEEE1394. Soon as i plug in the cable it will recognize the camera and when I open any editing software i.e. Pinnacle, windows movie maker, muvee or DV Capture...the software freezes up. (I have my camera on Play/Edit btw). Please if someone can walk me trough to solve this problem. Than you. I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but: Get a Mac. iMovie rocks. And it just works. Try turning it off then turning it on after the program has been opened. |
