Pretty much has same thing except video card is only 516MB and no finger reader
Price is $1700

Tell me which is better, or if you know one better than this please tell me. (under 2000)

For amounts to $2000, it comes up short with a lot of things or you have ommitted.

If this is a net computer or that is your intention, the price is an over kill.

Shop around, most of the stuff included sounds okay, I would also want at that price 400/800 fire wire, USB etc..

Could be, the fingerprint technology is what is killing the price on this...do you require it.

And Vista..well see if you can trade up to XP pro, yes I know its older, it is much better.

Go to a real terrestrial shop like Fry's I am really sure you'll get a better deal.

The first one if you want to compare the two. On the first one, upgrade the ram to 2gb or more. 2 should be enough to play games at a decent fps.

If you want a real gaming laptop, go with alienware.

I would go with the first laptop that you describe.

Reasons: the same that you pointed out -- much better video card and the fact that it has a fingerprint reader. More detail: if you do anything that is graphic intensive then you want the best video card possible. As for the fingerprint reader, in the future, and not so far away, we will be moving to fingerprinter reader identification or logon identification.

I prefer the second one as I'm playing game that much or the game I'm playing doesn't need that requirement. If I were you, I will reduce the amount of HD. I prefer 100G 120G instead of 200G. I think we don't need that much HD if you are not playing many game or video editing. I think you don't want to use laptop as a server also. I prefer finger print reader because it is the best comercial security tool avaliable in the market and you need to secure your data on your laptop
