How to resize a movie?

I took a video on my digital camera. It won't upload any where cause it's too big, so I need to compress it. I have kodak easy share software, and quicktime. I think I have Windows Media Player, but when I hit 'edit with . . . ' it doesn't show up at all.

YouTube won't take it.
Neither will photobucket.

I tried that. It said that it was broken or something. :/

I'd recommend going to www.download.com and downloading a program that will do video editing. That way you open the file, and Save As a different type. While doing that you can change options such as resolution and bitrate.
