Photos to cd?

I have a ton of photos on my computer from other people and my own digital camera. I was wondering how do I make a picture cd to give to a friend? Is there special software you need to do this? Help!

I am assuming you are using Windows XP (with a CD burner of course), is this correct? There are probably other methods, but what I usually do is open up My Computer and double click your CD drive icon to open it. Then I go into the folder where my photos are saved and drag the ones I want to copy to CD from that folder to the CD drive folder. Once you have all the pictures copied to that folder, put your blank CD in the drive and then in the CD drive folder on the left should be an option that says "Write these files to CD." Click on that and it should bring up a wizard to burn the CD. Just follow the directions in the wizard and that should do it!

Yes, you need a software to burn your photos to a CD. Check in your Programs to see if you have any kind of burning software. From there you can burn it to your CD
