How can I get the pictures up?

I have kodak easyshare software already installed on my computer, I was wondering if I would have to install different software on my computer to bring up pictures from a different digital camera? Thanks!

If you connect the camera to the computer, yes, you have to use the software that came with the camera
but, there is a trick
if you buy a memory card reader, and plug your memory card in (like a SD card, Compact Flash, etc.) you can open the folder inside the flash memory card from My Computer>(There are a bunch of removable drives, click on each of them until one of them has a folder inside)>(Look around inside)>(Find the pictures you want, copy them, and paste into your My Pictures Folder)
