Youtube.com?!!!?

I want to upload this video I made. I filmed it will my digital camera and added titles and credits with Windows Movie Maker. But when I try to upload it, it end up saying "Invalid File Format Error". I tried to figure it out and it said...

What does "Invalid file format error" mean?
It means that the file type of your video isn't supported by the site. YouTube does not currently accept videos in Flash (.flv) or RealAudio (.rm) format. You may need to try using software other than the software that came with your camera, such as Windows MovieMaker (included with every Windows installation), or Apple iMovie. Using these programs, you can easily edit your videos, add soundtracks, and change the file type, etc. Saving your video file as .avi, .mpg or .mov should enable you to upload your video with no problems.

How do I make my file elligible for youtube.com? I dont understand the file types. I want to upload this video on youtube so I can post it on my friends myspaces.

The video is only a minute

You have to go to "Save movie file" in windows movie maker... It's under the file tab...
You're uploading the Windows Movie Maker file, not the movie file.

No problem Report It

OMG thanku you solved my problem to! you rock! Report It

donno y, it could be because the file is longer then 10 mins. that could be possible. but not accepting the format types r a bit wired... try to convert it to .MP4 go to http://www.download.com/ and search for movie converter.

if your movie is longer than 10mins you have to apply for the directors program on youtube and make sure your file is not divx or xvid encoded
