| *SoulEyes Photography>>>Digital Camera software |
I have an older digital computer that isnt recognised by my computer. how do i fix it? |
usb is plugged in but my computer cannot find it. i downloaded the user software that the camera came with, but it still will not work. It will work on my other computer at work, but not at home. please help. Teach it to be more tolerant by making it gay. i have an old camera too, but a new computer and it works fine, try installing the CD that came with ur camera. if u lost the CD, download a driver from the manufacturer's website uh, get a new one, its the holidays I do not understand the question. Apparently your older digital computer (I do not know what that is) is not being recognized by your computer at work - do I have that correctly? Then you mention a camera that does not work with your old computer - if I understand you correctly. Please help me to better understand so that you may be assisted. You didn't mention what sort of camera or what software and format it is saving the photos in etc. However two things might help. Don't know what operating systems, etc. you are using, but could either be a problem with the version of USB port that your computer is running or the camera driver for that port itself. One other thing that you can do if the camera will load the photos into the computer but they aren't viewable is to download a "format changer" from Tucows.com or some other software site that can change photos from one format to another. Your computer can certainly handle .jpg format and probably can handle .gif and either .pict or .bmp depending on whether you have a Mac or Windows machine, etc. Also another option, providing as I said that your computer is able to load the photos, but not view them is to use a different photos viewer program. One usually comes with the camera that can show them. Some of the older ones like Vueprint early version easily show all the old formats. I know some of my old digital photos taken with a ver old camera won't show up in one of my photo viewers, but works find in two others. |
