What Equipment would i need for my digital camcorde,and what some editing software i could use to make it seem like i used a film camera ? What I did was use the low light amplifier which makes pixels the size of baseballs (all camcorders EXCEPT SONY do this, Sony uses a different process).
This means low light levels Like one or two 60 watt bulbs.
Click in the LOW LIGHT function (the amplifer) and then shoot it.
THEN put it into software like Studio Deluxe and step frame it to slow motion it down.
The results, visually, will look like 8mm film.
There will, however, be problems with the sound, but if you want it to look like 8mm film that was silent.
Not slowing it makes it look like NEtwork TV Dramas shot on film and transferred to digital.
The LOWER the light the better.
Use JUST enough light to see the people
This requires CREATIVE lighting NOT flat VIDEO lighting.
