I have some photos that I put in a microsoft word document folder need to xnsfer them to other software?

I want to export some photos from a word file to a photo editing program such as kodak or hp photosmart but I don't know how. I've tried copy/paste and it does't work. They were taken on a digital camera and sent via e-mail to myself thru microsoft word from a friends house. I want to be able to look at them as though I loaded them straight from the camera. Help!

You will find your folder in My documents and you can transfer it from there to any place accepting .doc documents.
