Webcam help, it used to work, now it doesn't?

My Sony Digital 8 camera used to work with Yahoo Messenger. It is connected to my computer view usb streaming. My cam shows up and I get video inside the sony streaming video tool. Yahoo can't find the camera. When I go into my preferences, click in webcam, the buttons for camera settings and camera source are not clicable. I can't get them to be able to be clicked. Help, I've uninstalled everything and reinstalled it(camera software and yahoo). Help

It's sometimes a VFW problem.. try turning this on or off depending on your webcam driver

You may have accidentally knowcked something out of place when you origanally had it installed. Or the webcam might have been disconnected to the computer. Try reading the manual for the webcam if you still have it. And starting the installation on the computer again.
