I'm planning on buying a new Ipod (80GB Video) and i just had some ?'s for anyone who has got one
I have a Kodak digital camera with the software already on the computer and the photos in that program, will i be able to transfer them to itunes?
I also have a flip video recorder that will have software online (have not put on yet) will i be able to put those videos on the ipod?
What kind of case is included with the Ipod?
Whatever of these ?'s you can answer would be a great help!!!! THANKS!!! Ok well if the photos are on your computer, you can just put them into iTunes, and as far as video goes, you're going to have to convert them before you can put them into iTunes, use Videora.

The iPod just comes with a black sleeve.
Also here is just some other info you should know about care for the iPod.
Battery Saving Tips:
1. Turn the clicker off
2. Do not charge it in it's case
3. Turn sound check off
4. Put it on hold when your not using it
5. Turn the brightness all the way down, your eyes will eventually adjust.
6. Don't always be selecting your songs, because since your iPod's hard drive is always in motion it burns more battery.
7. Don't have the equalizer on.
8. Don't fast forward too often
9. Don't use too many songs that are 9mb file size or higher.
Also there are better iPod batteries out there that can hold more charge, but you won't need to change your battery right away, you might want to look into those, but I would ask someone who knows what they are doing to install them.
General:
If your getting a black one, they scratch easily, so get a screen cover, these ones are great: http://cgi.ebay.com/for-ipod-video-30-60...
Also the TV AV cables work great, so if you download any videos, or anything you can watch it on your TV. The cable can also be found on eBay. These can be found from the same seller in the link above.
Also get a case, I love the Podfolio, but they are $40, (the Podfolio is really nice though), so you might just wanna look for a cheaper version, there are cheap versions of the Podfolio on eBay for $5, and they aren't bad.
Operation:
Overall, any iPod is based around one thing: simplicity, all the main controls are on the front, and the setting can be changed easily.
Other:
There is absolutely a ton of things circulating eBay, buy a wall charger, they are like $5, so if you buy the charger, screen protector, and case, you can get combined shipping, so you save a ton!!!! Also there are these speaker packs, so look into those, hope this helps. If you buy all the things from the same seller, you'll save a ton on shipping, most of those things on eBay for $5 are like $20 Retail. I've bought plenty of things for my iPod off of eBay and they work fine.
As for the post below, the Zen's are really ugly, and the buttons are hard to get used to. I myself have used over 60GB with my movie download spree. Yeah, you can put your stuff on, as long as it's in the right format.
No cases are included.
Save yourself the crap and get a Creative Zen, MUCH better than apple, you wont look like a fashionable tool, and has much more options than an ipod offers.
and wtf??? 80GB?? not even a dj needs that much |
