How do I transfer Digital Video to DVD? |
I Have a sony digital video camera, and wish to transfer the video onto DVD discs. How ever you do it DONT bugger up the original tapes!!! When you find out please pass along the you are right windows movie maker will do it. The best program I recommend you to use is Cucusoft MPEG/DivX/AVI/MOV/RMVB to DVD/VCD/SVCD Converter Pro, you can free download from http://www.dvdtoappletv.org/dvd-vcd-crea... , it is easy to use and powerful enables you to convert and burn any video file like MPEG/DivX/AVI/MOV/RMVB etc directly to DVD. You will need a software that supports that function. I have used Nero 7.0 in the past without problems. I usually just transfer my video from camera to PC by fire wire. does your camera have a fire wire connection slot? If it does you will need to buy a fire wire card and lead for your PC then connect the camcorder to PC then I would use windows movie maker because its simple to use. When it is now a video file on your hard drive, use a software like Nero 7.0 or something similar to burn on to DVD and you should be on your way. Your computer needs a firewire card(ieee1394) in it, then you need a firewire cord to connect your camera to your computer via the DV jack. Then use the software that came with the camera or Windows movie maker. I prefer Pinacle studio 9. |
