Does anyone know anything about this camera?

Its an AIPTEK-4000--Aiptek Pocket Cam 4000 3.1 Megapixel 4x Digital Zoom Camera

I want to know if its a good kind of camera and if it a good deal to get it at $44.99. The package includes the camera, a small stand, a case, software, and I think cables and batteries. Any info ASAP would be appreciated.

If its under $100 no. Your probably going to waste 50 bucks on a camera that takes horrible pictures and its not even a known camera brand. I saw one before, horrible interface in my opinion, button layout not easy to control, and I didnt want to go any farther than that. Hey, if you want a cheap camera for $50, go buy it. You get what you pay for. A decent digital camera cost $150-200 for just basic pictures.

My advice, save up to $ 200 and buy yourself a Canon, itll last you for a years to come.

This is a pocket camera.
Use it for snapshots and lite travel. Freinds - family etc. Not for high quaitly images.
A fairly nice price on the package, use do not expect outstanding
images.

You'd be better off saving a little more money and getting an entry level Canon, Nikon, Kodak or Olympus. You can find one on sale around $100 to $150, and either one will be way WAY better than the Aiptek.
