So my husband made a video on the digital camera, without thinking he turned it sideways like you would for a picture. The screen showed it the right way when he taped it so he didn't think about it being sideways until we went to play it... Is there software or a program to rotate it or are we just out of luck? Good news: there is software available from several companies that can edit multimedia images, including those from a digital camera or camcorder. A simple Internet search with the phrase 'video editing software' should point you most them.
Bad news: whichever software you choose, it will mean rotating every single image frame one by one; I know of none that can rotate hundreds or thousands of frames en masse. The simplest editors will have you select the image frame to edit (one click on a lineup of frames across the bottom of your screen), then click on an icon on the toolbar that represents the function "Rotate 90 degrees."
Envision doing that several hundred or a few thousand times in a row. Hopefully, there is one (or more) than can do many frames at once, but I haven't encountered it. Good luck. |
