Pictures from camera come out way to big on the computer...? |
Is there a way to make pictures smaller resoulution when importing them from a digital camera onto the computer? Mine always come out HUUUUGE and i have to download them to a website and resave them because they make it smaller for me.. Any easier way? Thanks I have a mac, so I dont have the wizard or paint... I used to have a big problem with this, but after i took a picture of my best buddy( big Wally) all the ladies seem to think a lot more about me. yes it makes a huge difference for what software you use. if you have windows you should use the photo wizard to download pictures. and you can zoom out of that picso it looks smaller or put that pic into microsoft word and click on the pic then you click on the bottom of pic where the black dot is and move your mouse up just do the same for the sides and the corners I have had the same problem! ok, you can go into (Paint) on your computer and go to (image) on your file bar at the top. Hit (stretch/skew) and just type in a smaller number for (horizontal) and (vertical)... and if it's still too big just repeat the steps! good luck the software probably has a resizer Choose the size of your pic by the software IN your camera IF you are only going to view the pics on your computer, or send them in email, then you can lower the resolution in the camera. However, if you MIGHT want to make enlargements of any of your photos, you should shoot them at the highest resolution that the camera offers. If you take pictures just for web, then set low resolution on the camera. But if you take pictures for printing, I suggest you shoot with max resolution, and use software to resize them for web. YOu need to get a software program like Adobe Photo Shop to cut your resoultion down or cut it down in the camera. If you cut ti down in the camera is it that way forever. The solution is a user friendly freeware : Visualizer Resizer. Download it free of charge at http://www.geocities.com/lcming/Digitalp... |
