Hi, I'd like to know what the best software is for converting files into various formats that is compatable/works with WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM. I am aware of ffmpeg but its a bit too advanced for me with the code thats involved.
With the recommended software solution, I need the ability in particular to convert DVD-Video Object files (.vob) from my dvd camcorder into 3gp mobile video format, mpg, avi and/or other compressed formats as well as the ability convert quicktime movie files (.mov) from my digital camera into 3gp, mpg, avi and various other formats as well as being able to greatly compress the file sizes without compromising on quality too much when needing to reduce the file size for online video site purposes.
Basically, the more formats the better, but in particular I need the ability to convert VOB files and MOV files. I should also say that with the software, I need it to be installed on more than one computer, so unlimited installations/activations would be ideal, but I require BARE MINIMUM 2 to 3 installations on different computers.
