How do I put my digital photographs onto CD? |
I have a standard laptop with windows. I want to put my photos from my digital camera onto a CD, how do I do this? Do I need special software? Like a 'burner' is it? Furthermore, I would like to make compilation CDs with my music on Itunes, is this straightforward or do I need a burner or copier also? And what sort of CDs for each? BIG thanks for any help!!! Some cameras act like a USB drive and just be dragged into the CD drive window (open the blank CD in My Computer) and press the "Burn these files to CD" on the right hand side. Others come with software (most) that can be installed. Just follow the wizard and it will do it for you. You will need a physical CD burner on your computer. yup of course ull need a burner in order to transfer files from ur pc to cd... your camera can be connected to your laptop and the photos can be copied to your pc. PUTTING YOUR PICTURES ON CD IS SIMPLE. DEPENDING ON THE SYSTEM YOU RUN. IF YOU DONT HAVE A CD BURNING SOFTWARE, DOWNLOAD ROXIO TOATS FROM THE NET AND THIS WILL WORK WELL. CONNECT THE CAMERA TO THE COMPUTER VIA THE CABLE SUPPLIED WITH THE CAMERA. ACCESS THE CAMERA AND DRAG AND DROP THE IMAGES TO YOUR CD. CLICK THE BURN BUTTON AND OFF YOU GO. Use Nero buring software. Use the make a data disk option to burn your photos and use the make an audio cd to burn your compilation cd. Any type of cdr's will do I would recommend you by cdr's for what you want to do rather than cdrw's which are re-writable and more expensive. Don't get ripped off tho you should only be paying no more than 拢10 for 100 cdr's from independant computer suppliers or the computer markets If you have never burned a cd it might be simpler to copy all the pictures to a thumb drive or memory card and take it to a kodak lab or kiosk and have them create a cd for you. If you have a card reader then put the camera card in the correct slot, windows will then ask what you want to do, select copy to CD. Put in a CD-R and away you go. If no card reader put your photo's on to Hard Disk again windows will ask for folder name then bring up My Pictures and select copy this file to CD using CD-R type. As for music try Windows Media player and follow instuctions Ulead dvd creator is brilliant for this the older version is what i use works brilliantley. |
