I have borrowed a friends digital camer. Its a vivicam10. I don't have the software to download.?

I went to the website for vivitar,I downloaded something... and I am now able to use the camera as a web cam.. but I do not know how to get th pictures off of the camera. Can you download the software needed to get the pictures off camera? What do I do?

Ask the friend for the USB cord, because the camera probably came with one. If not, go get a card reader.

Often, when you plug a device in, your system will find the drivers for it. However, if you didn't find what you are looking for, you can always use explorer to move your photos to your computer.

Assuming you were using a memory card, you can take the card to any retailer that has digital ability (which is most these days). (My favorite is Wal-Mart!)

And one final thought...why not just borrow the software from your friend as well?
