Good software for videos??

I have a cyber shot camera and I dont have the original software that came with it. I already visited their site and its not offered there. I need to find a software that I can use to transferr video clips from my digital cameras memory card onto my computer.

I have windows Vista. And I have to plug the memory card into the printer. The computer is not recognizing it.

You actually dont need any special software for this. If you plug in your camera, the camera memory is shown as a removable drive and operates just like your hard drive. You can drag/drop the pictures to your hard drive..

It does all the work for you and you can even edit and retouch your photos with reasonable ease..

I dont think you need software.
I have a cybershot as well and I have a card reader and I put memory card in the card reader and transfer it.

I'm assuming you have some version of windows.

Normally, if you plug the memory card into your computer, or hook up the camera via a USB cord to your computer, you will see the camera or card as another drive under "my computer" You double click on the camera/card and you will see a folder or two. Your pictures and videos are in one of those folders.

If you have a Win XP PC, then this should not be a problem. Connect the camera using the cable and activate Scanning and Camera Wizard. It would help you in transferring the images.
Even if you do not use the wizard, you can simply go to Windows explorer and you can see the device. Double click on it and go to the appropriate directory where the images/video are stored. Copy and paste them in the appropriate directory of your PC. After that from the camera delete the images. This is what I usually do.
