Webcam Software?

I just bought a digital camera/video camera its a Aiptek MPCR+ and i think it can be used as a webcam but i cant use the software it comes with because it messed up my computer when i installed it the last time so is there a software on download.com that i can download that lets you use your camera as a webcam? Or do i have to use the software that came with the camera?

The camera is not a MPVC+ its a MPVR+ I apologize for the error.

1. I couldn't find an aiptek mpcr+ camera; I found an MPVR+ instead. judging from the fact that letters V and C are neighbouring on an usual keyboard, I should believe there is a typing mistake.
2. I'm not sure if you can use it as webcam (on the USB line), but you can use it as an usual camera (or webcam, if need is) if you connect it to a video in of a video capture/tv tuner PC card. To display the image you'll just need the software used to watch TV, just switch the input from 'tuner' to 'video in'. Y!messenger/MSN can also use it, there is no other software necessary.

You should go to their website and download the latest drivers than the one that came with the cd.
Before you make the install put a restore point in windows so if it messes up you can revert back. Good luck.
