When I download pictures, they automatically try to open with software that I have for my Kodak digital camera. I want the default software to be Microsoft picture editor. How can I change this? Everytime I try to download and open a picture as opposed to saving it, the folder can't be found because it has been moved. if you are using windows xp go to start set program access and defaults from there you can select which program to use to open a particular file type set windows picture viewer or right click on an image go to its properties there you will see a line saying opens with and there's a button next to it saying change click on that and then select windows picture viewer and click apply.
