I can't get me camera to talk to my computer? |
Hi guys, I've bought a SiPix SC3300 digital camera, I have downloaded the software onto my computer - but I can't get access to the pictures within the camera via the downloaded software. When I open the software, Photoimpression, it just doesn't do anything. Does anyone have any ideas? Please. Install the USB driver for your camera. There should be a seperate disk with it, included with your camera. Check the instruction manual. After that is installed (not even that is necessary if you use Windows XP), just plugging the camera into a USB port will allow you to access your pictures as if they were a directory on your computer. Click the My Computer Icon and look for a temporary drive related to the memory card in your camera. Photoimpression should also be able to find your photos. Please say no to drugs Read the manual, I can't help as I have never used that camera. Notice how all the smart asses neve ask any questions I am assuming you connect your camera to your PC via a USB cable, when that is connected you should see another drive appear in "my computer" you can access your photos from there. If you are using a USB hub, try plugging the camera cable directly into you computer. i get the same problem with my missus not talking to me...lol...have you checked the camera leads are all plugged in and you have installed the software ? They aren't talking to each other because one was made in Japan and the other in Britain. do you wear y fronts and a tinfoil hat in a dark room too Just leave them alone, they will come around, no-one is an island! It sounds as though they need to see a counsellor if they are'nt speaking. |
