it is a mini digi cam sold by radio shack. it is compatible with win xp but hardware wizard cannot find the necessary software to install the device The name seams not the correct one
When searching for it you should get the chip name (Model name in most cases) any way
You should have its CD...
OR
You can search for it in the manufacteror website if you didn't find you driver there, try driverguide.com to get it's driver.
But installing the camera may be hard...
Most of USB devices will work if you follow these steps:
1- DO NOT CONNECT the device (Camera)
2- REMOVE the pre-installed driver software (from CONTROL PANEL --> Add Remove programs)
3- Now Install the CD in the drive (OR Just double click the SETUP.EXE file that comes with the driver folder), (OR Run the Setup to install the driver)
4- When setup is finished it may asks to restart computer, please do.
5- After the restart is finished, YOU CAN NOW connect the camera, It should says that a new device is found and the driver installation is in progress (OR something like that depends on the OS version). |
