I need step by step details on how to do this, and exactly what I need in the way of hardware or software. If you have a printer that alows you to stick the memory card right in there (ex: Epson) you can choose that, Stick the memory card in; go to my computer; double click E: drive; choose which folder the pics are in.
If your camera came with a USB/Firewire cable then you can choose this one. stick the cable in the comp.; stick the other one in the camera; give it a sec to install the camera; go to my computer; double click the icon that has your camera.
You can go to Wal-Mart and buy a memory card reader. Plug the USB cord of the card reader in the computer; put your memory card in the memory card slot; go to my computer; double click E: drive; choose the folder your pics are in.
No matter which option you choose, there is still only 1 thing left to do... put them in a folder. To put it in My Documents: after you have opened the files your pics are in open another window (some computers will have a link directly my documents, if not go to my computer and on the left hand side there is a link that says my documents, click on that). Right click; go to "add new"; click on folder; name the folder; double click the folder; go to the option you choose; hold down "shift" and click on the pics you want (or if you want them all hold down ctrl+a);click (and hold the click) down on one of the pictures; drag them over to the folder you created; drop.
You can delete the pics on your camera,if you wish.
Now unplug the camera/memory card. You're done! there should be a cd-rom disc that came with your digital camera, just insert it and follow on screen instructions. |
