HOW DO U TRANSFER PHOTOS FROM A DIGITAL CAMERA TO PC? read on?

do you need a software or sumthing or how do i do it

BTW IF SO WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THAT PROGRAM? for free course :p lol

You should have a cable, a USB adapter that came with your digital camera. All you will have to do then is plug one on the end to your camera and the other to you USB port. After that a file will come up and ask you what you want to do. Then you click save. If you want to, you can delete them from your card and just save them on your computer. Then you won't have to buy a memory card everytime. That's better if you take alot of pics. If you got a CD too, just download the software for you camera and you'll be able to load pics.

You can dowload the software here:

You'll need this if you don't already have it:

You should have gotten the software when you bought the camera

your digital cam should have came with a usb cord to attach it to pc if not you can goto like best bust and get a sandisk memory card reader to hook to your pc . bring your cam so they know which reader you need

Plug the camera into your comp. using the USB cable that came with it. Click on your start menu and then click my computer. When that screen comes up scroll down and look under "devices with removable storage" click on the icon below that sentence. It will import them on its own. Then right click on the picture and click send to then click my documents, my pictures, etc. Done deal. Still having trouble? -email me onehotmama_jen@yahoo

you dont need a program to download them...only a usb cable.

The best way to get pics off your camera is to get a multi media card reader, or digital camera card reader. Same thing. You can get the thing just about anywhere. Then all you do is, take the card out of your camera with the pics on it, put it into the card reader (wich is plugged into the USB port) then go look at it under My Computer. It pops up like an extra hard drive.

There are several possibilities. Most digital cameras come with a CD with software that you install and and a cable for hooking the camera up to the computer. You do that, then follow the directions. If you have a cable, but not the software, plug it in and see if Windows XP pops up a wizard to do it for you. If you don't have anything, you may be best off buying a cardreader--a little USB device that you plug into a USB port and then stick the camera's card into a slot at the other end. The computer will then recognize the USB device and you can move the pictures the same way you would any other files from a floppy disk. If you add some more information, I might be able to help more.

Windos XP has a get program. That is the program I have on my computer. As soon as I plug the usb cord in a menu automatically pops up allowing me to select copy pictures to my pictures folder. Its automatic Its WINDOWS XP. I think you can buy it at any Walmart.
