the photos are in the computer via finepix software You need to sign up for an online photo album account on a website that provides such a service.
www.flickr.com is a popular free service for this.
After you have done this, you will find instructions there how to upload the photo files from your computer to your online photo album. Depends on what your website will accept for uploading. Any FTP utility will usually work You should be able to upload the pictures or you can copy and paste. gotta have a computer cam You can upload them to www.photobucket.com or you can use www.fileodge.com..Both of these websites will give to codes to upload them to your website.. Its not recommended, unles you are using your website for backup storage.
Unless you use the e-mail option when you take the photo, the images on your camera have a filesize that is too big for general web use. They'll take ages to load into your visitors's browser. The whole file will load and the browser will then have to resize it to display it at the size you've specified.
The file also contains information which doesn't contribute to the image, such as the date, the camera model and so on.
Its better to load the image on to your pc then use a graphics application to re-size a copy of the photo. Then use the "save for web" option. This will save your pictures in the jpeg format, and strip out all of the unecessary info to speed up loading times. You can also decrease the quality to 80 or so to help prevent people from stealing it.
There are at least 2 legal freeware programs you can download, the easiest is Irfanview, which also acts as a photo album. The GImp is as good as Photoshop 7 but a bit harder to learn. If you use the Gimp, you can add a watermark and copywrite to your image, just use the text tool and white ink with a transparency of about 60%. Try Picasa, which is 100% free, easy to use.
