I have a digital camera and I can record videos whit it. Thw thing is that I can't open the files of those vid

Most programs don't recognize the files format, and other ones tell me they are damaged or something. I managed to open the files with a software called VLC media player. In spite of that, I tried to make a new file with a new extension with the mentioned program but that new file didn't work on windows media player. The original file extension was Asf but (as I said previously) most programs weren't able to open it, or even recognize it...... I need to run those files on windows media player or other standart software because i need other people to open the files

So my suggestion is to download an updated version of Windows Media Player. It looks like Windows Media Player 11 is the newest. Go to the following link to download. Also, if that does work, you may want to send the link to the people opening the files so they can update the version of W.M.P. that they have too.
