Picking a Digital Camera?

Hello and thank you for visiting,

I am looking for a camera that can also take videos, load on to a Windows XP Home at a fairly fast speed with easy to use software and good video quality. I am making movies of me doing magic tricks. I would like this to be a chain such as best buy comp usa ect. Also price is not really an issue but i would like to keep it below 500 if possible but 800 is the maximum.

Thanks so much,
Dan

PS. E-mail me for free magic

i found this one does anyone have it and is it good?

This website will guide you through the sea of digital cameras to help you make an informed decision on which camera will work best for you.

DAN DAN THE MAGIC MAN

I HEAR THE CANON ELF IS VERY GOOD

GOOD LUCK

it helped me a lot to search for reviews online about cameras before I bought mine. then you get to hear the drawbacks as well as the specs.

U are serious? Us dollars or Yan

FXXX, even my cheap cheap cell phone (cost 2xx us) can shoot photo and make video.

check out the sony cyber shot. my boyfriend makes music videos on ours. very good quality. excellent camera!!!

I would say either get a Canon digital camera cause they have the best quality in digital photos i have to say or either sony digital cameras they have sharp clear shots and takes longer videos then most digital cameras. Hope they could help you with your search.

The best digital camera site I found was www.dcresource.com. He's got camera reveiws, and then he's got personal reveiws, which are unbelievable. I made a spreadsheet with all of the features I wanted and then went through his reviews. I am confident that I got the best deal I possible could, with all of the features I wanted. The reviews are kind of tricky to find if you're not familiar with the site, so here's a direct link:

You have to click on DCRP Review to get the really in-depth one.

And here's a sample review:

The sample review is of the first camera I bought. If there's any kind of virus going around in Canon's (which a poster below me suggested), I think he would have heard of it (or I hope he would have). In my 3-month review of all digital cameras, I never heard that either. That's not to say it's not true - I would just feel like an idiot if I hadn't heard that after all of my research :(

Good luck!

try sony dcs w-30 good enough for you

theres plenty of great cameras with those features but if I may make a suggestion, I wouldnt get a cannon camera because apparently theres a virus that occurs in some of them that cannot be fixed unless u pay over $100. Happened to me and my sisters camera and we had different kinds but not all cannons do but it is unfortunate =/
