I don't have the digital camera that the raw files came from will i be able to fix the problem on my computer

the disk belongs to a friend and they don't have the pics on the camera anymore ia there anything i can do to help i do not have the software

i cant even see the pictures on the disk

As long as you have image editing software that can, and has been configured to, handle RAW files - ie. Photoshop Elements - and your PC has enough memory to work with the files - which could be quite large - you should be OK.

Please copy those photos on your computer. Download some photo editing software from www.softarchive.net or www.phaxeddl.com On both the site you will get even Photoshop any version for free. This is full working version. Use it intelligently. If find some problem ask me by mail.

There's a free (open source) raw processing software, it's called UFRaw. I'm a professional photographer (meaning, I live on photography), and I prefer it even over Photoshop.
