I don't know how to download videos off of my video camera (Sony DCR-HC36 digital video camera) onto my PC .

I can't figure out how to download the videos I've shot with my camera. I've shot my videos using a digital videocassette (not a memory card, but there seems to be no way to transfer the video footage onto my PC.

I've read the directions, and the provided software (Picture Package) only gives directions on how to use their product after the video has been downloaded onto the PC.
