Transfering film from digital camera to my laptop?

No. You can also use a card reader that you can plug into your laptop USB port and then insert your cameras memory card. The laptop will prompt you what to do.

Windows should handle it. But you are NOT transferring film, you're transferring digital VIDEO data. There is no FILM involved with video.
