The Camera must be:
1.relatively cheap (below $200)
2.has an LCD screen
3.small and stylish
4.has optical zoom and digital zoom
5.fast (takes pictures quickly)
6.long battery life and has a rechargable battery
7.does not need extra software for uploading pictures to the computer (USB 2.0)
8.strong, stable, well-constructed
9.idiot-proof
10.ability to take video w/sound
11.upgradable when needed
12.expandable memory (takes memory cards, etc.)
13.works well with indoor (or any) lightning
14.at least 3-4 MP i think the best pick for such specifications will be one from Canon Powershot Series or one from Sony CyberShot Series. anything other than that will not be a good investment. they have all you need plus a much better lens which will produce great quality shots. lenses are the most important part of the cameras as of the quality point of view. Hey I bought a fuji 4.1 pixel at wal-mart with everthing with it for $150 they give you a small memory card to start. Its pretty simple.lcd screen. it comes in a box with everything you need to start. you might want to buy a bigger memory card later for more photo's Sc p.S. Nice and little too:) Its all gooood... I use a Sony DSC-S60.Cyber Shot
*runs about 150-200 bucks
*has a 1.5" LCD screen
*looks nice
*3x optical zoom
*quick
*great with recharables (if you turn off the focus lumilight
*very sturdy
*easy to use *idiot settings* plus has advanced settings
*takes video with sound
*can buy other lenses for more specific needs
*takes memory sticks
*works well with any lighting.
*4.1 mega pixels
unfortunately this one does need additional software (comes with it), but it is relatively small. (I just use the Sony Copy program - deleted most of the rest of the program.) i would DEFINITLY recomend casio cameras.
i have the casio z-750, but the step below that would be the casio Z50.
this camera is amazingly fast, has one of the quickest focuses, and response time. a very large bright lcd screen. 5 mp. VERY long battery life, i belive about 400+ pictures on one charge, video, and very easy to use with its quick scene modes. and its very studry, and feels nice in the hand, because its the size of a deck of cards :)
im sure you can find this camera for under 200 dollars on a price search engine site!
good luck :) hy next fuji e550
second sony p200 enjoy |
