Who stole my digital camera? Read the rest...? |
Someone stole my digital camera out of my bag on my flight to Maryland. I bought a new one and I want to know, do I have to install the new photo software or can I use the old software that's already on my computer? Usually the software isn't for the driver, it's for the programs that come with it, so you should be ok. If your computer doesn't recognize some features, just install the driver part on the disk. if its the same kind or brand you can use the old software. how do we know? if you have the memorie disk, you can but if you dont then you have to start all over If anyone needs a digital camera, I have one for sale...cheap! new software that will work with your new camera but if its the same kind and style as the old one then no your able to use the old kind it depends if your model and make of your camera is the same. if it is, then its ok to use the old one. unless if the software is a new version, then you should go for the new I have not installed camera-specific software in years anyhow. I use a card reader and Photoshop Elements and don't need the software. Photoshop (etc) and freebies like Picasa and Gimp provide more image editting abilities than whatever came with your camera, so they are better to use anyhow. It wasn't me!! ;) |
