Item comes from Hong Kong.....should that worry me? Well, it depends what you want out of it. I saw this on Ebay. It's not really 12 megapixel, but it is interpolated. That means it creates extra pixels by guessing the pixels in between the real pixels. This means the quality is only as good as the real megapixels it is capable of which is 5.1.
If you want just a camera to take good pictures with, I would look for a name brand camera. It will cost you about $150 and you will get much better results.
Usually a guideline is, if it is small, does "everything", has fantastic specs, and is cheap, it's usually not as good as it sounds.
Personally I would stay away from this, but of course the choice is yours... 1) Greater the OPTICAL ZOOM better it is
2) Greater the megapixel more can you enlarge
These two factors are the two most basic and important component of a digital camera and cannot be overlooked.
Go for a branded camera maybe Cannon, Nikon,Kodak,Sony etc Report It
