I recently won a really cheap camera called 'Jazz JDC24 Multi Mode VGA' (http://www.digital-products.info/Digital...
I was able to download all of the necessary software and take the picture. But when I try to get the pictures from the camera, I get an error that says 'Error with connection device, please check your trouble shooting guide'. When I check that, it says that there may be a conflict with another camera or capture device driver. I don't have any other camera hooked up to my computer. I have Windows Vista, which doesn't appear as one of the system requirements. Could my Window's Vista be causing the problem? What other troubleshooting steps could I take? Because, as you can see if you visited the link above, the camera's manual isn't much help. Thats most likely your problem. The camera and the software for it may not be compatible. You might try uninstalling the software from your puter, download the app again (save it, don't Run it). Right click on the download and click the Compatabilty tab and make it run under the XP sp2 compat. mode. Then click OK and run the setup. This might help or it might not be able to run on Vista at all. |
