I am unable to download a CD of a digital camera related to USB. What can I do?

My computer is of Windows XP but the USB driver software (related to Camera Kyocera Finecam L4) is for Windows 98, 98SE and Mac OS8.6. My computer requests to make changes in the system to download the CD. I have no previous experience in this matter. How can I make this software useful?

You don't need to download and install a driver, when you plug your camera in it will just work per Kyocera website

I don't think you can use it. I had the exact same thing happen with Polaroid software, it won't work with XP, there is no update available, at least from Polaroid. Call the 1800 number for the company, that's what I did, the software was not available period, it was too old, "3" years old, go figure how fast stuff becomes obsolete! It is easier to use an old win 98 operating system, get someone to partition off your hard drive and have windows 98 also! Good luck.

What that means is Windows XP has support for your camera built-in. So, just plug the USB cable in and everything will work.

TIP: Read the camera user manual, too.

If the operating system you are using is Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP*1, Mac OS 9.0 to 9.2 or Mac OS 10.0 to 10.2*2

*1: Windows 2000 should be Professional version and Windows XP should be Home Edition or
