How can i use my digital camera as webcam? |
i have kodak cx7430 digital camera.i doesnot have webcam support.is there any software which turn my camera into webcam or any other technique? SELLER ALSO GIVE ME TV IN OUT CABLE FOR CAMERA.THERE IS ALSO AUDIO VIDEO PLUG BEHIND PC NEAR MONITER ATTACHMENT PLUGS.WHAT IS FUNCTION OF THIS PLUG IN PC AND WILL ITS WORK I had a Kodak DX camera, and it uses pretty much the same software and the CX (EasyShare). I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. What happens is, you can make short videos with the camera and send them to your computer over the USB cable, or to a DVR or VCR using the TV cable you have. However, the camera isn't set up as a PC video source - it doesn't stay on for long periods of time, if you don't do anything with it, it will "go to sleep" and end any video signal after a few minutes. Like I say, if your PC is set up to accept a TV signal, you can send video clips into it, but you can't send a long stream to it. I really dont think so. I used to use Logitech's webcam program and in the software there was a place to select the source of video. I know Yahoo messenger had something similar as well. not possible |
