What software do I need to burn video from my digital video camera onto a DVD? |
Something EASY, please! Edited to add: I HAVE a computer with a DVD burner. However, I don't seem to have software that will allow me to put the video onto a DVD that I can actually put into the DVD player and watch. Most will only replay on the computer. What you need is DVD authoring software. Pinnacle, Roxio, Ulead, all make very good software at affordable prices. Chances are since your computer came with a DVD burner, you have DVD burning software already. Nero and Roxio generally come with most DVD burners. My computer also came with something from Sonic called MY DVD. I do not recommend using Sonic Solutions or Roxio software unless you have the patience to let the program freeze up on you for hours Report It All you need is a computer with a dvd burner. Depending on your software you could have Windows Movie Maker. That will get the video from your camera into your computer and edit it. Saved as a WMA file. I use DVDit to add navigation if you want then burn a DVD. but it is an expensive program. I've added a link to a cheap one that you can try first. I have the same problem as you. Here is what I did so far: Transfered tape on hard drive with Microsoft Moviemaker. Exported, Convertedthe file and Authored a DVD with like 3 different programs. Total pain. you just need a computer that can burn DVDs! |
