How to transfer photos from digital camera to computer? what are the required accessories and software? usb cord many cameras have usb cables and most computers have usb ports. try hooking them up and going from there. if your camera has a memory card, there are card readers for computers that you can use. Depending on your computer you should have a flash drive to insert the memory stick. There also shoulld have been a data cable that came with your camera so that you can transfer via your computers USB port Usually a mini- USB cable and Hook it up. Windows should see it and you go from there. Most digital cameras come with a cord that hooks your camera to your computer and the required software. Also if you have a memory card in your camera adn your computer has a slot for a memory card you can trasnsfer your pictures that way. Depends. If there is a USB cable probably just plug it in and it will act like a flash drive. Maybe it has a memory card or stick. Then plug it into a reader ($10 - $20 at Staples etc) and again it will be like a flash drive. No big deal about the storage - just like on a hard drive. All the digital cameras come with an USB cable and software cd. If you are using the windows XP then u need not to worry about the software. Xp has Plug And Play capability. It will automatically accept the device. Put the usb cable to the usb port of your pc. And then browse My Computer. And you will find the new drive which is your digital camera. Just go through the folders and u will find your desired pics. Just copy them to your pc. Hope this will help you. if u have usb cable plug it in and something will come up on ur window and if do not come go to control penal and click on scanners and cameras and click on the camera which have u connected. |
