I need to install the software on my pc to download pics from my digital camera but...?

I dont have the envelope that had the serial number on it, I think I trashed it by mistake, is there any way I can find it online? or anywhere else for that matter, I have a load of pics on my camera and I cant get to them!

Thanks guys, I seem to have solved the problem, I connected my camera to the pc and it downloaded the pics automatically without the need for the software! at least I know now what to do!

OK more than likely there is a second way around your problem. If you contact the manufacturer they can probably help with the existing software. But Microsoft will automatically recognize and download pics from many cameras without any special software.
If that doesn't work or is difficult for you to setup, then you can also typically find a simple USB device that matches the memory card or stick or whatever is used in your specific camera. These USB devices work great and often can allow for downloading the data much faster than what your camera will do itself.

Most digital cameras will allow you to access them as a flash drive, Check and see if your running windows XP if it will allow this.

Well you may be out of luck as far as your camera's software goes, but you can download Picasa for free from Google and import your pics that way. I'm a Photoshop user but I use Picasa to import my shots and organize them. Picasa has some pretty good editing tools as well, and I would bet it's better software than what came with your camera. If not Picasa, then check your camera's website for possible software downloads from there. Good luck!!
