I want to buy a camera on ebay but it says it has no software with it can i use it with my computer? Alot of camera companies's websites offer the software for their camera online, you might want to check out the camera's website to see if they offer the software for it. Also, it is possible to get a SD card reader, and just remove the SD card from the camera when you want to use it. Use Google and search for the software. Most programs and drivers that support hardware like that can be downloaded directly from the manufacturer's web site. You know the model number, go look for it. 1. Probably means the camera was stolen. Most computers come with auto-update software, so when you plug up the camera o your computer, it should automatically read it and allow you to utilize it on your PC. If when you do plug it up and it doesn't read automatically, its just a quick search for the software (check the makers web add., or download.com.) If that doesn't help try contacting the makers of the camera. They should send you the software for free. No software seems to be the major complaint of camera users here and some camera companies actually charge to replace the CD. You can use a card reader for your computer then you will not need the software, the newer computers have card readers built in. If your computer doesn't have a built in card reader, you can pick one up for $10 to $30 |
