Blender is a good start

1) Any program like that that's any good is far from free.

2) Any program like that that's any good isn't simple to learn to use.

3) Most of the larger production companies use software they've written and it's not available to the public.

Can't tell you about any free software to do that or a simple to use package either, but I can tell you what you want is a package that uses 3d vectors. Autocad is one example or 3dstudio.

I'm not a computer whiz, maybe your best bet to wait till somebody smarter comes along, if nobody than try www. download.com. Everything you download it's free and they help you on the site to tell you what would be the best to down load, good luck!

Your talking about a complex animation. And there's no simple software that's going to make complex animations... simply. Good luck.

You are asking a lot for a free program.

Download.com was already recommended. Just check to make sure that you click FREE in the licenses section.

Also check www.snapfiles.com

freewarehome.com

softpedia.com

freewareguide.com

majorgeeks.com

cpedley.com

However, I recommend before you type freeware into your Yahoo search, that you install the McAfee Siteadvisor which is free [don't need the paid one] and install it on your browser. I glows green at the bottom of the browser if no bad reports for the site, yellow for caution and red if there have been reports of popups, malware, spam and hidden downloads.
Good luck.

Dude, I'm sorry, but, to the best of my knowledge, any program designed to make CG animations will cost YOU allot of Money I hope for your sake that some one out there makes a free one but i doubt it
