Please pro or experienced youtubers help with editing for music video!!!?

You know the pretty designs that show up in windows media player (the colored waves)? Well, I want that as my background but if I record it straight from my computer screen with my sony 5.O digital camera (which is mainly used for pictures not videos) the quality of this song I recorded isn't very good. I don't mind if the vid. quality is lacking but how do I get that pretty background to be in sinc with my song if I upload the song separately for better listening quality??? Windows movie maker will not allow me to upload videos only pictures. Is there cheap or free software I can download to add songs to a video? If the two don't go together how can I get the rhythms of the background lines and song in sinc?? Anyone who has experience with this, could you please offer some advice! I would also like to upgrade some videos I already have on youtube of myself singing accapella by being able to change little things like the lighting and zooming in and out on videos already saved/recorded.

If u want to get high quality video for youtube,
U can save the video as AVI on Windows Movie Maker.
Then convert the AVI video to high quality flv video with E.M. Youtube Video Download Tool.
At last, upload the flv video to youtube.

windows does allow video hun but it has to be wmv go here and get the converter at the top of the page to convert the videos you have to one that windows movie maker allows

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. Are you saying when you play your song that you like the effects that media player does while playing your song? If this is the case, you can make a video of it while playing your song, just use cam studio to record a video of your desktop. It's free and an AWESOME tool for doing tutorials and other such videos of your computer. It saves in avi file and can be quite large. Does take some fiddling with to get good quality/small size videos. But it's a great tool to have even if you aren't asking what I think you are.

P.S. it allows you to record audio too in several qualities. Up to 44,000 stero or something like that. You can make a desktop video and record from microphone or what you hear.
