Sony camcorder mini DV question? |
i bought a a firewire port and installed it on my computer, plugged my camera into it, the video camera screen said "dv in" on the LCD screen, i opened windows movie maker and slected "capture video from device" and an error message popped up saying "a video capture device was not detected" even though its connected, i tried the software program that came with the device driver but it said the same thing...10 points to the 1st person who can tell me an answer that HELPS!! You need to install or update the camera drivers. Have you tried the Sony support site?? They have tutorials & live help. Follow the link below>>>>>>>>>>> Is the camcorder set to play? I'd expect the screen to be showing DV Out, not DV In. |
