Video Editing : trying to make credits with credits on right side and bloopers on left PLEASE HELP!!THANKU?

i'm doing media studiesand my team decided to make me editor im in year9 so please dont make the instructions difficult and i dont want to buy any new software.I've also got another question..A few years ago i purchased a new video camera and its not that great but it came with software called picture package,i tried capturing video but it didnt work because the computer couldnt detect the camera i fiddled around with the usb port and it started to work but i had to use the little popup on windows xp which says i need to install the software and it does it automatically.The final video had terrible quality and kept 'jumping' so i decided on trying to do it on my new laptop which is windows vista, because it is much bettr than the other computer and its guaranteed to not have any stuff ups.i tried installing picture package on the laptop but it cant install on windows vista (the version of picturepackageis1.5)vista didnt install the software automatically pls give me suggestionsTHANKS!

OK, you don't want to get any new software, but what have you already got? I'd start by putting the credits on one track, the bloopers on another and then using picture in picture or cropping to merge them.

you may find that you are limited with scaling and screen position using your application.

the only solution for you is to put the credits on top of the bloopers plying underneath.
