Fujifilm Finepix camera uploading problem?

I switched from XP to Vista and ever since I can't upload my pictures from my Fujifilm Finepix Z5 digital camera.
I didn't use the finepix software to upload on my XP, instead I just opened up the files from My Computer and saved from there. When I plug in my camera to the USB now, it won't read. At the bottom corner of the screen it says "Installing driver software" and then after a few seconds it says "Cannot download".
When I look in My Computer, it looks like nothing is plugged in, when my camera says USB on it as it always does.
I tried downloading the finepix viewer software, and nothing happens with that either.
I have two memory card readers already, and none of the slots on them fit my memory card.

Help!?

Do your USB ports with anything else, like a thumb drive? I had a similar problem, but it was caused by my drivers for my computers USB ports and had nothing to do with the camera. I actually got it to work by getting rid of the software and just using Windows Explorer. Try installing the software now and see what happens.
