My dad accendtially threw out the software suite to my camera before i could put it in the computer.? |
What should I do so that i can upload pictures onto my computer? Is there a way to buy a new one without buying a new camera? You shouldn't need the software that came with your camera to upload pictures. The pictures will be stored in a universal format, probably JPEG. Buying a new camera sounds a bit drastic. You forgot to mention which particular camera you have. In most cases (but not always) you can download the software from the manufacturer's website. check the website for your camera and they may have it fully downloadable. if not, call up the manufacturer and they could probably replace either for free or a nominal fee, since this stuff happens all the time. Also just to transfer, windows should have a built in program to do so. just plug in the camera and put it to whatever setting you nomrally would to transfer, and it should pop up. Alternatively, you can get a card reader (if your machine doesn't have one), and just stick your memory card in it. As stated above, you really don't need the software from the camera maker, as you can use any image software. Go to Downloads.com and you'll find many free or free-to-try programs. go to the cameras manufacturer website and download it. |
